Dorling Kindersley is a large publisher that mainly focuses on reference books. These were a few projects I worked on while at Lateral.

The first was a Flash micro-site for a book entitled Car Science. The client wanted kids to be able to customise their car while learning about all the different parts and what they do. At the end you would get a "trump card" with your customised car and its stats on, that you could then use to battle with other cards. My job was to create the overall look and feel and all the illustrations.

Next was another Flash micro-site, this time for a human body book. The client wanted a drag-and-drop game where kids attempted to put the human organs in the right place on the body against the clock. I created the all the illustrations.
